Update from China

Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. Prov. 25:25

We are so happy when we are able to get any little bit of information about Connor. I asked our agency to check on him and this is what they were told.

Connor can walk up and down the stairs holding onto the rail. He likes to feed himself. He asks his caregiver for help when he wants to go potty. (This is surprising to me!) He can put his shoes on and off independently. He likes balls. He is very interested in music and stories. He is very concentrated during story time. Sometimes he is shy in front of strangers. He can greet people. Generally, he is a shy boy. When seeing other children crying, he will comfort the child by sharing his toy.

The kids are going to have a great time running around playing with Connor. He is at such a fun age!

We wonder what he did today. China is 13 hours ahead of us, so he is probably just waking up. I have been busy today making Connor a quilt with airplanes on it. He will love it!

Can't wait to get you home, Connor!

What fun seeing the update tonight when I checked on precious Connor. I love just seeing his face and then to read about his personality made me smile even more. He sounds well developed too. Thanks for keeping us posted. We are anxious too and wonder when we can come and meet our newest grandson. He'll love the quilt, Julie. I sent his album in for imprinting today too. We are praying that the travel date will come soon.
Love, Grandma and Grandpa E.
