At 2pm we head down to the lobby to drive over to the Civil Affairs office to get Connor! Julie, Melissa, and Michael are playing cards and, after several attempts to use the free internet services around the island, I gave in and paid for the in-hotel internet service.
We are having a great time, here on Shamian Island in Guangzhou.
Here are some of the pictures from the previous days. The first two are from the Great Wall, the third is the Olympic Stadium where the Opening Ceremonies will be held, the fourth is from the Summer Palace, and the fifth is from a local Cantonese restaurant where we ate last night. This restaurant definately catered to the locals, so we were somewhat selective when ordering.
