Wow! Time flies. We can hardly believe that Connor has now been part of our family for 5 months. It feels like we have had him forever. He is so adorable you just want to hug and kiss all over him. Well, you can try if you can get a hold of him! He is always on the move and always happy. He loves being outside, riding his bike, playing in the sandbox and on the swingset. He isn't going to like that it will be cold soon and he will need to wear his shoes. And Elmo, I forgot he LOVES Elmo. That is a true 2 year old for you!
He enjoys playing with the neighbor kids. He hears laughter or yelling and points and wants to go see who it is so he can play. We try to explain that this Egge family is introverted and he has to learn the family way. I don't think it will happen! Connor watches for Bella and Mitchell out the window everyday hoping they will come out.
Connor is recovering well from his surgery. He actually only woke up twice last night which is a huge improvement. Still not eating much, but he is trying. His mouth must really hurt as well as just feeling strange to have all of those stitches in there. I can't blame him for being cranky. Any one would be after that procedure. He has started just letting us hold him and rock for a while. We never thought that would happen.
It will be so exciting for his speech to begin developing. He has so much to say and we look forward to hearing it.

What a delightful way to start our day with an update on Connor. You gave us some laughs as we can picture the scene. What a brave little guy. He is so loved by you and it is evident.
Connor, we love you and can hardly wait to see you again.
Love, Grandma Barbara and Grandpa Joel
