Quick update

Connor is doing well. He had a second set of tubes put in his ears last week on Tues. The last pair were not doing their job for some reason. Let's hope these last more than 6 months. It isn't fun seeing your little one come out from under anesthesia. He was very upset.

We had our visit to the craniofacial team on Thurs. They thought Connor was doing very well. They are the nicest group of doctors. Connor just sat on Dr. Havlic's lap and played with the powerpoint remote until we were finished. After an hour long wait in the waiting room we were so afraid Connor would be all over the room getting into things but Dr. H had just the right touch and Connor impressed everyone with his good behavior especially his parents who truely know it was an act of God. We were very proud of him!

Yesterday and today we went for an early learning evaluation to get Connor into a preschool for kids who need assistance with speech. We sure hope he gets in. If the speech doesn't come it may be a medical issue with his cleft and he would need another surgery. Really not looking forward to the possibility of that.

Well, I think it is time for a nap. It has been a busy week.

Hi Julie ~ I glad Connor is feeling better. Tina told me about the school and I know they will let Connor in! It's hard to believe you guys are coming up on your one year anniversary of visiting China and bringing home your precious son!!

Have an awesome weekend.
