Connor is Two!

Happy Birthday, Connor!

Connor turned two yesterday. We celebrated on Sunday. He got a new sandbox, which he loves, though he doesn't know yet that fine grained sand is not the best to get in your face and eyes. He's learning. Connor also got a new broom, which he loves. I know it sounds like a funny gift, but he loves to play with the full sized brooms, so it was nice to get him a broom that is his size. He had a great time.

Saturday evening, we went up to Marion and celebrated Father's day and Connor's birthday with family. He didn't know what to do with a wrapped gift when Aunt Joan and Uncle Mark gave him a fun present. (Now he knows. On Sunday, he ripped right through them.) It was nice to see Uncle Pete and cousin John for the first time. Grandma, Grandpa, and Aunt Connie were also there.

The weather was finally great this weekend. We all had a great time outdoors.

Sunday was also great because Melissa got back from Aruba after spending a week with her friend Katie and her family. We missed her. It is great to have her back.

You sure know how to make grandma happy. What very precious photos. You all look so great and the birthday boy is so handsome. I just came home from church and just thought I better check just in case there was a posting. Wow, what a special treat. Thanks! We are glad that Melissa is home safely.
We love you and appreciated the new posting.

Happy Birthday Connor! I hope that someday when you come to River Oaks to visit Grandma & Grandpa E, you can come over and play with my grandson Preston who is the same age as you! I think you would have some fun.

We LOVED having Connor and his entourage up in Marion on Saturday! He is such a smart and curious guy, it was so much fun (and so much work) keeping up with him as he explored. Two doors to the deck were a special treat, as were the FOUR dogs to play with. Nikki the Aussie was especially attentive as Connor threw her ring for her. We love our Egge cousins and say thanks for coming up!
